Whitney Eve & WE by Whitney Eve

This years Australian Fashion week brings into the mix an international perspective, with the backing of corporate sponsor Mercedes Benz and inclusion of Hong Kong designers showcasing. The highlight no doubt is the inclusion of American designer Whitney Port, Whitney EVE & WE, showcasing her aesthetic for California lifestyle and Manhattan sophistication. She has been in the media spotlight for sometime appearing on both reality TV shows The Hills and The City, The City focussing on how she started up her label.

Whitney has been to Australia before making an appearance for LMFF in 2010 for Target but this will be her first time showing at Australian Fashion Week.

Camilla. Gypset SS 2012 -13

Runway Communications went backstage with Diaries of Bella's Phoebe during final show prep. As well as previewing Camilla's latest collection titled Gypset in The Tent. Bold prints and more separates were a change from her signature look kaftans, but was still in keeping with the strong Camilla DNA.

Through her overseas training the styling has been interpreted perfectly for our Australian Winter climate but still with a hint of European chic. Chanel tweed for coats and comfortable stretch European fabric for tuxedo styled blazers are some of Liza's favourite AW essentials. Reversible jackets and a combination of separates that can be interpreted by the wearer in a number of ways are also a unique part of this seasons collection.
