One Night Stand boutique X Stephanie Chehade the label.

It was an affair to remember with One Night Stand Boutique and Adelaide fashion designer Stephanie Chehade collaborating at a sophisticated fashion launch. Showcasing both fashion hire business and Local fashion designers strengths.

Also known as ONS Boutique since 2012 the fashion business has offered the hire of high quality dresses from a range of Australian designers including Bec & Bridge, Nookie and Zimmerman. And have recently added fashion accessories and shoes to complete the styling of the dress.

Natalia Taylor  the founder of ONS says, “We understand that women are unlikely to wear the same outfit more than once, particularly since the increase in social media captures. We continue to provide a service that enables women to wear a beautiful dress once but at a fraction of the retail price, and without buyer’s remorse,”
Another local business that benefits from ONS boutique is Karl Chehade Dry Cleaning; using the environmentally friendly dry cleaning service is fitting with the nature of the boutique's emphasis on recycling fashion garments.

S.A Designer Stephanie Chehade showcased her sophisticated styles alongside ONS boutique range. Since graduating with the Advanced Diploma in Applied Fashion Design and Technology from TAFE SA in 2011 she created the  label starting in 2014.

Her collection showcased both white on white Resort Wear and High Summer garments. The High Summer collection showed a refined range of neutral tones and play on textures that reflected her interpretation and style of a Moroccan Summer.

The event featured models by Finesse models Australia, Filip Odzak on the decks and Kate Collins as emcee. With special thanks to Maree and the Girl about town PR team for another high quality fashion event supporting the local fashion industry.

An enchanting runway by PAOLO SEBASTIAN

The Snow Maiden

Having not had a solo show as part of  the Adelaide Festival since 2011 it was another highly anticipated runway show. Paolo Vasileff showcased his Autumn Winter 2016 collection tittled the Snow Maiden against a backdrop of full size trees stripped back to their bare winter state. Which both contrasted and complimented the collection which was full of texture, volume and warmth.

There was a sense of progression from a peasant maiden with a touch of old world elegance to fairy tale princess. This was reflected in styling, proportions of garment lengths and layering. The collection was as diverse as needed to be without loosing the connection throughout the showcase and wasn't all extreme couture. The evening options had a ready to wear appeal but keeping the Paolo Sebastian attention to detail.

It was fitting to have such a talented designer close the new look Adelaide Fashion Festival after a four day whirlwind of runway shows and cultural events showcasing the best of South Australia's creativity within the fashion industry.

MILAN MODE the launch

Adelaide fashion connoisseurs had the opportunity to see the latest offerings from the Milan Mode online boutique at the Ambassadors Hotel in the heart of the city.  Guests enjoyed champagne and sweet treats by How sweet it is; in a classically styled room with hanging glass chandeliers which gave a European feel.
What sets Milan Mode apart from other online retailers is the attention to detail in finding on trend, sophisticated, classic pieces that will become a staple in any woman's wardrobe without been too showy or big brand focused. The six racks of clothing showcased a range of clothing from there key labels available online. With plenty of styles to mix and match. There was a lack of color but this was in keeping with the sophisticated statement styling. Thanks to Girl About town PR for the invite to cover the launch.
