It was an edgy and sophisticated collection for By Johnny; who held his runway show against the backdrop of Blacksmiths workshop at Carriageworks. At the end of the runway stood a colony of white geometric structures which the models appeared from. 

The detailing of pleating and highlighting of the curves on hem lines created amazing movement and overall freedom for a relaxed resort and travel collection. And delicate cotton embroidery anglaise is bonded with glue to form structure–a BY JOHNNY specialty. There wasn't any colour but emphasise was used in bold patterns and high shine in textures to create interest.
