Yeojin Bae's resort collection that was simplistic in overall feeling and use of color. Though still delivered on the important details like intricate, creative cuts, crossing of color and use of lace to create streamlined silhouettes. A collection with restraint without holding back on creativity.

Ginger and Smart sister duo are one of the longest participating designers of Australian Fashion week showing at this years MBFWA Resort 17 having previously showing eleven times.

Ginger and Smart always have a strong story tell through their collections. The Voyager Collection for Resort 17 was inspired by earth's reflection from space. Through layering of texture, aerial prints and atmospheric color pallette. There was a mix of asymmetrical layering; and free flowing fabrics. The new swimwear line incorporated into the collection had colour palette with a representation of earth's moods with jade, rust. Subtly layered underneath sheer layering of separates.The overall styling reinforced a travelling and exploration mood with travel bags and backpacks paired with raffia and metallic slides.
