JAYSON BRUNSDON, A ROSE IS A ROSE

Jayson Brunsdon was one of the longest participating designers to show over the past 20 years at this years MBFWA.
And he continued his evolution of the label with the inclusion of menswear to the brand. Romanticism, raw glamour and a touch of attitude was reflected in the collection.

There was a mix of softness and bold textures with use of silk organza, tulle, satin, French lace and  and sequinned detailing. The use of the rose was both simplified on white mens tailored shirts and a more textured print on skirts. Ivory, pinks, red and satin, noir black created a chic palette.

The collection is not all about evening dressing with day options like garcon shorts, pencil skirts and stove pipe pants.

"I have always been attracted to romance and classical femininity but this collection celebrates a sense of individuality and self expression towards these ideals." Jayson Brunsdson

A showering of red rose petals that layered the runway created the perfect finale for A ROSE IS A ROSE collection.
